Dear Parents,

We're excited to provide you with crucial details about our team structure at the Port of Los Angeles Buccaneers (POLA BUCS). As we gear up for the season ahead, it's essential to understand the roles within our organization and how they contribute to the success of our young athletes.

Each team within POLA BUCS is supported by a dedicated staff, including:

  1. Head Coach: Responsible for leading and guiding the team during practices and games, fostering skill development, and instilling values of sportsmanship and teamwork.

  2. Assistant Coaches: A team of up to five assistant coaches who assist the head coach in various aspects of training, strategy, and player development.

  3. Team Manager: This person handles administrative tasks, scheduling, and logistics to ensure smooth operations both on and off the field.

  4. Player Agent: This person acts as a liaison between the team and the league, handling registrations and paperwork and ensuring compliance with league rules and regulations.

  5. Team Parent: This person provides support to the team and families, coordinates communication, organizes team events, and assists with any additional needs throughout the season.

We're also excited to announce that each team has the potential to accommodate up to 33 players. This allows us to build solid and competitive teams while ensuring that every player has the opportunity to participate and contribute to the team's success. However, please note that we must have a minimum of 22 players to establish a team.

We encourage you to spread the word about POLA BUCS and continue to recruit athletes to join our program. The more players we have, the stronger our teams will be, and the more fulfilling the experience will be for everyone involved.

Thank you for being so supportive, and let's make this season one to remember!

Warm regards,

The Staff at POLA BUCS
